Bali Blue Moon- This is one of our most cherished and unique specialty coffee beans, and also one of the strongest! Grown in the volcanic soils of Mount Agung in the Kintamani Highlands on the Island of Bali Indonesia, these rare beans actually have a slightly blue color before they are roasted! This coffee is grown at an incredible 4,000- 5,200ft, in between rows of oranges and tangerines trees, which many people believe is why they seem to pick up a touch more sweetness and acidity than most Indonesian varieties. The shade from these trees, combined with the altitude they are grown at results in a denser, slower maturing bean. Higher density beans develop more flavor, are of higher quality and are generally better tasting. The irrigation system the family farmers use for these beans was designed more than 1,000 years ago by Hindu priests.
Mexico Altura- I think you will love this well balanced, medium roast coffee and its natural hints of chocolate and cinnamon as much as I do! When I want to indulge with a little flavored creamer in my coffee, this is my go-to because it has an amazing strong flavor without overpowering the flavor in the creamer. Of course, it is always a treat to drink it black as well!
While Mexico is not necessarily known for their coffees, they are one of the largest producers of organic coffee in the world. When you do begin to look for the highest quality coffee beans in Mexico, you will find they generally come from the Chiapas and Oaxaca regions, which is why we source our coffee beans from there. The forested mountains of these regions, with their rich volcanic soils are perfect conditions for Arabica plants to thrive. Coffee produced from this region is called Altura, which means “high grown”. When it comes to coffee production, higher elevations generally mean better beans. Mexican Altura coffee beans are considered to be very high quality and are among the finest grown Mexico. They tend to produce a medium bodied coffee with mild flavor and a pleasant acidic snap. After harvesting, these coffee beans are meticulously hand sorted, fully washed, then dried in the sun or in mechanical driers. You'll be able to taste the care taken to make sure you receive only the highest quality coffee beans that Mexico has to offer.
Peru-Try this silky sweet coffee, with a creamy, medium body and I'm sure you will want it to become part of your daily routine. With flavor notes of citrus and salted caramel it is sure to please. Farmed in the mountainous region of North-Western Peru, this organically grown coffee is certified Fair Trade and ethically sourced from Cooperativa Agricola de Servicios Multiples Norandino. Norandino is an umbrella organization that was established in 2005 to support a sustainable coffee supply from three coffee producing cooperatives in the northern regions of Peru. Coffee producers receive training and technical assistance in land management, irrigation, organic farming, productivity, quality control and reforestation programs. Their main objectives are to improve the quality of life for the farmers and their families, improve the quality of coffee grown, and to sell 100% of their coffee beans to the specialty market.

Freshness is key to great tasting coffee and that is why we never roast our coffee beans until after you place your order. Your order will typically be roasted 2-4 days after placing your order and will be shipped the very same day!
