Soil: Volcanic Loam

Roast Level: Medium-Light

Panama has earned its place in the spotlight of the specialty coffee world — often thanks to the famous Gesha variety — but there’s much more brewing beneath the surface. The Boquete region is where volcanic soil, high altitude, and generations of coffee wisdom come together to create something truly special.

This lot from Finca Isabel showcases that harmony beautifully. Spread across 500 carefully managed acres, each plot at Finca Isabel is planted with purpose — different coffee varieties matched perfectly to microclimates and terrain to coax out the best flavor from every seed. The result? A cup that balances juicy peach and mandarin sweetness with a nutty, bright finish that dances across the palate.

Every cherry is handpicked at peak ripeness and processed with meticulous care at Beneficio El Bajareque. There, the coffee undergoes floating to remove imperfections, careful fermentation, washing, and drying — all steps guided by expert hands that know how to honor the bean’s potential.

Sip this one slowly. It’s not just coffee — it’s a taste of Panama’s legacy in every cup.
