Apple, caramel, and cola are a few of the tasting notes you may notice in this Uganda, single origin coffee. The coffee grower is Sipi Falls Coffee Project which sources their beans from family owned farms located in the Bugisu region on the slopes of Mount Elgon. This region is named for the Bugisu people who are indigenous to this area, and the Sipi Falls Coffee Project is named after a trio of majestic waterfalls that sit at the base of Mount Elgon. The volcanic soils of Mount Elgon, paired with the cooler climate at that altitude is the perfect recipe for growing these superior quality 100% Arabica beans.Â
